Cal both 303 Brit. 1) WW2 BSA JUNGLE BOLT ACTION CARBINE. S# BJ4560. Bbl. 20 1/2" with British sale proofs & flash hider. Blade front sight with protective ears. Ladder aperture rear sight properly graduated to 800yds. All visible matching numbers. Parts have proper lightning cuts. Left side of socket has "M47/C" BSA marking with 1946 date. Left side of receiver has proper "No. 5 MkI" marking. Receiver ring has crown "BNP" proof. Suncorite finish. Hardwood stock set. MAGS: 1-10 rd. matching numbered to carbine. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: RFI Indian No. 5 bayonet with scabbard. CONDITION: stock has arsenal rework appearance with scattered dings, scratches & handling marks. Metal retains 70% arsenal Suncoirte with scattered flaking & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore. (25-6892/MJC). 2) Australian Rework BSA MKIII* SMLE BOLT ACTION Rifle S# B65588. Bbl. 25 1/2" dated June 1947. Standard SMLE Sights. Bolt has been arsenal force matched to receiver. Other parts are mismatched or unnumbered. Socket has BSA SHTLE III* markings with 1916 date. Right rear of reciever has IA Co. import marking. Receiver ring has "D (Broad Arrow" P" marking denoting drill purpose. WW1 Enfield reworked in Australia post-WW2. Arsenal green parkerized finish. Lithgow made bbl. & other parts. Hardwood stock set with faint "MA /46" markings on right side of butt & "9/6" markings on underside of forend. Bottom mounted sling swivels with canvas SMLE style sling. MAGS: 1-10 rd. marked "OA". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: WW1 Sanderson P1907 bayonet that has rechromed finish & scabbard. CONDITION: sanded stock set shows some dings & handling marks. Metal retains 80% arsenal rework parkerized finish with scattered thinning, fading, edge wear & a few spots of finished over pitting. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
