This lot consist of the following Japanese handguns both in Cal 8mm Nambu: 1. NAGOYA TYPE 14 NAMBU SEMI AUTO PISTOL. S# 95474. Bbl. 4 5/8". Blade front sight. Square notch rear sight. Right rear of the frame has an 18.10 date, denoting October 1943 production. Right rear of the slide has the Nagoya symbol, first series marking, and serial number. Some markings have added white highlight paint. Matching numbers on slide, bolt, firing pin extension, trigger, firing pin, cocking piece, and both grip panels. Blued finish with small, strawed parts. Grooved Asian hardwood grips. MAGS: 1-8 rd., numbered to a different gun. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original clamshell holster that has a torn strap and scattered staining. CONDITION: grips show a few dings and some handling marks. Metal retains 90% of its original blue with some operational wear, freckling, and scattered fading to gray. Very good bore. (24-2326/MJC). 2. JAPANESE TYPE 94 SEMI AUTO PISTOL. S# 35312. Bbl. 3 7/8". Blade front sight. Square notch rear sight. Right rear of the frame has the Chuo Kogyo marking and an 18.3 date, denoting March 1943 production. Matching numbers on the frame and underside of the bolt. Blued finish with small strawed parts. Checkered black grips. MAGS: 2-6 rd., both mismatched. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: pigskin holster. CONDITION: grips show some flattened checkering and handling wear. Metal retains 90% of its original blue with scattered light oxidation and fading to gray.
