1) Greek 1903/14 Bolt Action Rifle. Cal. 6.5 MS. S# R6787. Bbl. 29". Blade front sight. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Stock appears arsenal force matched to receiver on both left side of action & right side of butt. Bolt appears unnumbered. Breda made 1903/14 Mannlicher Schoenauer rifle dated 1927. Receiver ring has Greek cross & "1903/14" model designation. Arsenal rework blued finish. Hardwood stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels. Left side of butt has faint outline of Greek roundel. No cleaning rod present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Steyr made bayonet without scabbard. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework appearance with a notable chip at rear right of handguard, some other light chips, scattered dings, light gouges & handling marks. Metal retains 40% arsenal rework blue with scattered oxidation more heavy on the front end & bolt assembly, some dried grease, scatted handling marks & fading. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Dark bore with oxidation & some pitting but evident rifling. (25-5836/MJC).
2) Steyr 1904 Mannlicher Rifle. Cal. 8mm Mauser. S# 16794. Bbl. 28 3/4". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight. Matching numbers on receiver & bolt parts. Stock is mismatched. Export turn-bolt Mannlicher rifle that feeds from Gew 88 clips & similar to the Romanian 1893 model. The Irish Ulster Volunteer Force notably used this model rifle but this example lacks any overt UVF traits. Left side of receiver marked "STEYR 1904". Hardwood stock with bottom mounted sling swivels. No cleaning rod or rear sling plate screw present. Right side of butt has faint old added letters. CONDITION: stock set appears to have been lightly sanded long ago with a plug repair behind upper tang, a couple notable glue handguard repairs around rear sight, a few chips, a few gouges, scattered staining, dings, scratches & handling marks. Metal has a silvery-gray appearance with scattered pitting, oxidation, edge wear & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Dark poor pitted bore with heavily worn rifling.
