This lot consists of the following surplus rifles:
1) WW2 Lithgow SMLE MKIII* Bolt Action Rifle. Cal. 303 Brit. S# D27988. Bbl. 25 1/2". Standard SMLE sights. Matching numbers on bolt handle & receiver. Rear sight is mismatched, other visible parts unnumbered with nosecap being scrubbed. Socket has 1942 date & Lithgow markings. Dark phosphate finish. Hardwood stock set with "SLAZ 44" marked butt & "SLAZ 42" marked forend. Bottom mounted sling swivels & SMLE style sling. MAGS: 1-10 rd. CONDITION: stock appears lightly cleaned with some added finish, some handling marks & dings. Metal retains 90% arsenal rework dark phosphate with scattered edge wear, some oxidation more heavy on buttplate & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. 2) Early Swedish M96B Mauser Bolt Action Rifle. Cal. 6.5x55. S# 23441. Bbl. 29" threaded with detachable aftermarket flash hider & Century import marking. Standard Swedish M96 sights. Matching numbers on receiver, bolt parts, floorplate & buttplate. Other visible parts have mixed numbers. 1899 dated Mauser Oberndorf Swede M96B rifle. Arsenal rework blue finish. Beech stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & canvas military style sling. Cleaning rod present. Underside of wrist has two strong Swede crown markings. CONDITION: stock set shows a tight crack behind upper tnag, some dings, flaking finish & handling marks. Metal retains 97% arsenal rework blue with some handling marks, light oxidation & edge wear.
