This lot consists of the following muzzleloaders: 1) Traditions Springfield Hawken. Cal. 50 S# 14-13-005387-99. Bbl. 28" oct. Brass blade front sight. U-notch rear sight. Gray finished bbl. Case colored lock. Hardwood half-length stock with brass furniture. Brass tipped metal ramrod. CONDITION: stock shows a few light handling marks. Brass parts show scattered light tarnish. Lock retains nearly all its case colors. Bbl. shows scattered light oxidation & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore with strong rifling. (01-26053/MJC). 2) Unmarked American Percussion Rifle. Cal. about 52. NSN. Bbl. 27 1/2" oct. Modern gold bead front sight. Adjustable u-notch rear sight. Additional vacant rear sight slot. Rifle appears to be a percussion American muzzleoader. Hardwood butt stock. Hardwood ramrod with brass tip. CONDITION: stock shows scattered cracks, chips, dings & handling marks. Metal is a dull gray patina with scattered tool marks on bbl., pitting & oxidation. Action appears to function when hand cycled. Pitted bore with visible rifling. (01-26054/MJC).
