ACTION RIFLES. Both Cal. 7.62x391) S# 73243. Bbl. 20" with import marking. Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2400m. Rear sight base is missing its screw. Bbl., floorplate & trigger guard all numbered "13". Other parts are mixed. Chinese converted T38 to 7.62x39 with modified follower & shortened length. Receiver ring has ground mum & T38 markings. Left side of receiver has Kokura & 25th series marking. Arsenal blue finish.. Asian hardwood stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels. Cleaning rod & forward band keeper are missing. CONDITION: stock shows heavy wear with gouges, cracks, staining, chipping, dings & handling marks. Metal is turning gray with scattered oxidation, pitting, edge wear, handling marks & traces of arsenal blue. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Fair bore with strong rifling but scattered pitting & dried grease. (25-5983/MJC). 2) Nagoya T38 Chinese Conversion Rifle. S# 22894. Bbl. 20 1/2" with Merex import marking. Blade front sight. Trapezoid aperture rear sight graduated to 2400m. Mismatch numbers throughout. Chinese converted T38 to 7.62x39 with modified follower & shortened length. Receiver top has ground mum & T38 markings. Left side of receiver has Nagoya & illegible series markings. Arsenal rework blue finish. Asian hardwood stock with bottom mounted sling swivels. Rear sling plate is missing its forward screw. No cleaning rod or froward band spring present. CONDITION: stock set shows several cracks, chips, dings, gouges, handling marks & scratches. Metal shows overall fading, scattered areas turning gray, oxidation, edge wear & some pitting. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Dark bore with dried grease, some pitting & oxidation.
