Lot of U.S. and foreign military helmets, including: 1) x1 U.S. WWI era (1917) Brodie helmet. Textured OD painted exterior with riveted chin strap bales. Oilcloth and cotton twill liner with brown leather chin strap. Interior of rim is marked "ZJ252". CONDITION: helmet retains large amounts of its painted finish, exhibiting scattered handling marks and patches / areas of oxidation. Oilcloth liner has stiffened. Chin strap remains malleable, exhibiting age related cracking and crazing overall. 2) U.S. M1 helmet. Dark OD painted textured finish with from seam rim and fixed chin strap bales. Liner is absent. No visible markings are present on the interior. CONDITION: helmet is good, showing scattered handling marks and minor impressions, with flaking on the rim and some scattered spots of oxidation. Right side khaki canvas chin strap is absent. 3) U.S. M1 helmet with OD painted and textured finish, rear seam and swivel chin strap bales. Synthetic liner with brown leather and OD canvas fittings, as well as an OD nylon chin strap. Exterior is fitted with a six-color desert pattern "Chocolate Chip" camouflage cover. CONDITION: helmet exhibits scattered handling marks, chipping to the paint, and areas of oxidation (primarily at rim). Liner and cover are very good overall. 4) West German M62 stahlhelm. OD painted exterior with single large rivet on top, leather liner, and OD canvas chins straps. Liner is ink stamped "57-61". CONDITION: helmet retains large amounts of its painted finish, exhibiting scattered handling marks and some chipping overall. Liner remains malleable, exhibiting some wear and crazing. 5) U.S. DH-132 helmet. Green painted finish with web and foam lining, ears cups, and microphone. CONDITION: good, exhibiting wear and handling marks overall. Rim exhibits some areas of separation from the helmet. 6) Swiss M18 helmet. Helmet exhibits a black painted and textured finish, with a 3-flap leather liner and a leather chin strap. CONDITION: good, with scattered handling marks, and light to mild wear. Leather liner has stiffened, with the chin strap having torn on one side. 7) Apparent French Adrian helmet. Brown painted exterior, with wool and leather liner, and black leather chin strap. Insignia on front of helmet is absent. CONDITION: helmet retains fair amounts of its painted finish, exhibiting scattered spots, patches, and areas of flaking and oxidation overall. Leather remains malleable, exhibiting age related cracking and crazing, with a few small tears present on the chin strap. (02-26126/MLW). NON-GUN. $300-500.
