This lot consists of the following US bayonets & knives: 1. US 1892 KRAG BAYONET. Bayonet measures 16 3/8" overall with 11 1/2" blade. Blade is dated 1901 & has US markings. Brightly finished metal parts with smooth walnut handles. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: metal parts of bayonet remain partially bright with scattered light pitting, oxidation & some dings. Walnut grips show a few chips, dings & some handling wear. Scabbard appears arsenal reblued with scattered pitting, oxidation & fading. 2. US 1892 KRAG BAYONET. Bayonet measures 16 3/8" overall w/ 11 1/2" blade. Blade is dated 1901 & has US markings. Matte black reworked finish. Blade has "US" marking & 1901 date. Hardwood handles. Steel scabbard with swivel belt hook. CONDITION: metal shows areas turning gray with edge wear, fading & oxidation. Handles show some dings & handling wear. Scabbard is a dull gray patina with scattered oxidation. 3. US 1892 KRAG BAYONET. Bayonet measures 16 3/8" overall with 11 1/2" blade. Blade is dated 1899 & has US markings. Brightly finished metal parts with smooth walnut handles. Scabbard with swivel belt hook. CONDITION: metal parts of bayonet are turning to a gray patina with scattered oxidation & some dings. Walnut grips show a couple light chips, some gouges, dings & handling marks. Scabbard is mostly a dull gray patina with oxidation. 4. US 1917 BOLO KNIFE. Blade is dated 1918 & maker marked by "A.C.CO.". Parkerized finish. Hardwood grips. Green canvas scabbard. Scabbard shows overall silvering. Other metal parts are a dull gray patina with oxidation, pitting & dings. Grips have a carved "X" on one panel, scattered dings & handling marks. Scabbard shows scattered staining & flaking. 5. US 1917 BOLO KNIFE. Altered US 1917 bolo knife altered with slimmer profile & partially removed US markings. Hardwood handles. Tan canvas scabbard. CONDITION: blade is mostly a gray patina with large areas of tool markings, removed areas, oxidation & dings. Crossguard is missing. Grips show long cracks, chips, gouges, dings & handling marks. Scabbard shows scattered staining & soiling. 6. US M1917 BOLO KNIFE SCABBARD. Tan canvas covered steel scabbard. CONDITION: scabbard shows some flaking & staining. (02-21222-2/MJC). $300-500.
