PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 2886. Bbl. 3 1/4". Unusual double action blowback pistol that is immediately recognizable by virtue of its unique profile, tip-up bbl., and mag. release button mounted on the mag. itself. Pistol has a fixed shark's fin front sight and drift adj. rear sight. Shallow matted rib marked "LE FRANCAIS". Left side of slide marked "LE FRANCAIS-CAL. 7.65". The right side of slide marked "MANUFRANCE-ST. ETIENNE. The tip bbl. lever is on the right side. Fitted with black plastic grips. Each panel molded with the word "MANUFRANCE", the "MF" logo and its location in St. Etienne within a bordered checkered field. Fixed lanyard ring on left frame. Unique mag. release mounted on base of mag., the body having an exaggerated oval viewing window similar to the early Beretta pistols. Removal of the mag. will automaticly disengage and tip the bbl. forward to disclose the S# struck on the left side of the bbl. lug. MAGS: 1 approx. 8-rd. CONDITION: approx. 60% original finish with most of the salt blue having faded or worn from the frame. VG+ grips and near excellent mag. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics.
