Cal. 40-60. S# 37765. Bbl. 28" octagon. German silver blade rocky mountain front sight, sporting rear sight and tang sight with large disc aperture. Double set triggers. Blue finish with case colored hammer and lever. Forearm and S curved pistol grip walnut stock have nickel finished steel buttplate and factory checkering. Serial number indicates 1890 mfg. CONDITION: bbl. shows 40% faded blue finish. Action retains 60% blue remaining bright on sides showing spots of freckling and marks with carry wear on upper and lower surfaces. Hammer and trigger retain small amounts of case colors. Mag to has faded to gray showing general light pitting. Stock and forearm have age darkened worn finish, lightly worn checkering and show numerous scratches and marks. Double set triggers are not setting properly. Bore shows areas of substantial pitting.
