Cal. 32-W (32-20). S# 22679. Bbl. 24" octagon. German silver blade Rocky Mountain front sight with elevator adj. V-notch sporting rear sight. Full length tubular mag. Blue finish with case colored hammer, lever, and buttplate. Walnut forearm and nicely grained walnut buttstock with crescent steel buttplate. Estimated total of 4,814 mfg. 1888-1889. CONDITION: over 80% blue showing edge and carry wear with scattered scratches, marks, and spotted corrosion. Hammer and lever show small amounts of case colors. Buttplate has faded to mottled gray. Lightly worn original wood finish shows scattered scratches and marks. Sound mechanics. Bore is generally bright with strong rifling showing small spots of very light pitting. (01-27802/DS).
