Cal. 8.15x46R. S# NSN. The 29-1/2" tapered octagon barrel is unmarked where visible. Bottom is stamped with German nitro proofs with the date of July 1925. Case hardened Martini type action is also unmarked and has removable breech block and trigger group fitted with double set triggers. Top tang is fitted with large peep sight adjustable for windage and elevation. One piece stock of plain European walnut is fitted with heavy iron off hand type buttplate, Tyrolian cheekpiece and schnabled forend tip. Point pattern checkering with broad mullered borders is at grip. Rifle is fitted with sling loops on barrel and stock. CONDITION: fine to very fine. Metal parts retaining nearly all their original finishes. Wood with nearly all its original finish shows repaired crack on right of forend. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanically good. (25-1655/MGM).
