These Pacific theater made knives for marines & navy are all unique in grip size & shape but all are all double edged dagger point blades which are well made & very sturdy for their intended purpose. All have heavy brass lozenge shaped cross guards. 14" overall, 8.5" blade, 1 3/8" wide. 2.5" unmarked heavy brass lozenge shaped cross guard. Slightly curved stag grip, original brown leather sheath with snap closure strap. This is among the largest of this scarce WW2 fighting knife extant. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: hand drawn collection card by Roger Ballard. CONDITION: very good to fine overall, blade still retains tool marks and sharpening as made, dark staining and light pitting, sound sturdy sheath with staining. (02-24038-3/JS). NON-GUN. $500-700.
