Left bbls are marked w/ chrome fluid steel markings and importer marking "Von Lengerke & Detmold / New York". Hand detachable self opening sidelock actions w/ maker's name on lockplates, full coverage arabesque scroll hand engraving w/ fancy borders that continues to forearm irons w/ borderline engraving on breech end of bbls. Double triggers, front triggers are hinged. Selective ejectors. Gold bar cocking indicators. Steel tipped splinter forearms and straight hand stocks of fine European walnut. Features include teardrop points and point pattern hand checkering w/ chain link style borders. Gun 1: S# JJ85771. Bbl, forearm and top lever are marked w/ gold "1". Stock dimensions: LOP: altered to 14 1/8" over solid black Galazan recoil pad. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 1/8". Stock has a slight cast off. Bbl measurements: Bore dia RT: .726. LT: .721. Choke constriction RT: .022. LT: .00, CYL bore. Wall thickness: RT: .026. LT: .027. WEIGHT: 7lb 1.6 oz. CONDITION: bbls retain 98% re-blued finish having a slight plum cast. Rib forward of breech shows small area of possible repair. Markings show slight distortion. Action retains over 90% blue showing light carry wear. Action is tight and on face. Wood has good finish and checkering showing a few small marks. Very good bright bores. Gun 2: S# JJ85770. Bbl, forearm iron and top lever are marked w/ gold "2". LOP: altered to 14 1/8" over solid black Galazan recoil pads. DAC: 1 1/2". DAH: 2 1/2". Stock has approx 1/4" cast off. Bbl measurements: Bore dia RT: .719. LT: .719. Choke constriction RT: .033. LT: .018. Wall thickness: RT: .032. LT: .031. WEIGHT: 7lb 5.6 oz. CONDITION: bbls retain 97% original blue showing light marks. Action retains over 90% original blue showing fading on frame. Stock and forearm have lightly worn finish and checkering showing scattered scratches and marks. Forearm shows substantial gap between the wood and iron. Action is tight and on face. Very good bores.
