SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9x19mm Parabellum. S# 6139r. Bbl. 4". P.08 Luger originally mfg. at the Mauser arsenal in 1941 and subsequently rebuilt after World War II. The bbl. extension is marked "41" over the chamber, with Mauser Eagle/655 acceptance proofs marked on the right. Toggle is marked with Mauser's "byf" mfg. code. Bbl. is Century Arms International import marked. Metal components exhibit a post-war reapplied blue finish. Frame is mounted with later production 2 piece checkered black plastic grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, takedown lever, safety lever & bar, bbl., bbl. extension, breechblock, extractor, firing pin, and toggles. Remaining components are mismatched. MAGS: 2 8-rd with black plastic bottoms. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting scattered spots of handling marks and mild pitting beneath the bluing. Rear of frame shows a small spot of oxidation. Bright bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing and some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. (23-5437/MLW). CURIO. $600-900.
