AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 9x19mm Parabellum. S# 3102F. Bbl. 4". P.08 Luger semi-automatic pistol, mfg. by Mauser in 1942. The bbl. extension is marked with the 2-digit year of mfg. "42" over the chamber, with Mauser Eagle/135 acceptance proofs marked on the right. Toggle is marked with Mauser's "byf" mfg. code. Metal components exhibit a reapplied blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Grip screws are brass replacements. Matching numbers are present on the frame, sideplate, safety lever and bar, hold-open latch, bbl., bbl. extension, trigger bar, breechblock, extractor, firing pin, toggles, and rear toggle pin. Takedown lever and trigger are imperially proofed replacements. MAGS: 1 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some light superficial handling marks, with scattered spots of pitting present beneath the finish overall. Bore exhibits moderate pitting while retaining good rifling throughout. Grips exhibit scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with the left grip exhibiting a small crack on the interior and the right grip exhibiting a crack that runs the length of the panel on the interior.
