LATER "ORIGINAL MAUSER" BOX. Cal. 6.35mm. S# 419647. Bbl. 3 1/8". Model 1910/34 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser. Left side of the slide is marked with the S#, followed by "MAUSER-WERKE A.-G. OBERNDORF A.N." with "Cal. 6.35-D.R.P.u.A.P." and a double crown over "U" (which is also present on the right side of the bbl. lug) marked on the right. Metal components exhibit a high-polish, salt blue finish overall. Grip screws exhibit a nitre blue finish. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece crosshatched wood grip. Half-moon blade front sight, with a U-notch rear sight. All numbers are matching and include the frame (left side, beneath grip), sideplate (interior), slide, and the bbl. MAGS: 1 9-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: later production Original Mauser cardboard box with cleaning rod. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory finish, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear, a few areas of light thinning that show through to a pleasing brown patina, a few scattered superficial handling marks, as well as a couple spots of very light freckling overall. Mirror bore, retaining well-defined rifling throughout. Grip is very good, showing some scattered handling marks, light wear to the varnish, as well as some chipping along the edges of the grip strap. The later production original Mauser box exhibits some scattered superficial wear from handling and storage but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. A very nice, high condition example of a Mauser Model 1910/34 pistol. PROVENANCE: from the lifelong collection of Robert "Mike" Bricker. (24-1102/MLW). CURIO. $300-600.
