Cal. 7.65mm. S# 237219. Bbl. 3 7/16". Model 1914 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser. Slide exhibits standard factory markings, consisting of the S# and Mauser's single line address on the left, with the cal. designation marked on the right. Top rear of slide is marked with a double crowned "U" commercial proof. Right side of the bbl. is marked with a later Eagle/N commercial nitro proof. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, with the trigger, grip screws, and extractor exhibiting a nitre blue finish. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece checkered wood wrap around grip. Standard fixed blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the frame, sideplate, and slide. Bbl. is mismatched via "486". MAGS: x1 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, showing some areas of light to mild wear and thinning fading to gray and brown patinas, as well as some scattered spots of light to mild pitting. Near mirror bore, retaining good rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grip shows some wear and scattered marks from handling and storage, with a crack present on the right side at the butt.
