WITH HOLSTER. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 875769. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model HSc semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Mauser during World War II for commercial sales. Left side of the slide is marked with the Mauser banner logo, followed by Mauser's mfg. information above: "Mod. HSc (3-LINES) Kal. 7,65mm". Right side of the slide is marked with a faint Eagle/N commercial nitro proof, which is also present on the rear trigger guard web on the right side of the frame. Metal components exhibit a professionally reapplied high polish blue finish, save for the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece flat checkered wood grips. Left grip panel exhibits an inlay that is inscribed "F . R". All numbers are matching and are present on the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: two 8-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black leather holster containing one spare mag. Interior of the closure flap exhibits illegible writing in black ink. CONDITION: excellent as professionally refinished, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear and some superficial marks from handling and storage overall. Excellent bore, retaining strong rifling throughout. Grips exhibit smoothing and some scattered marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sturdy and serviceable. Left grip exhibits a chip in the top left corner of the panel, with two small cracks present at the bottom. Mags. retain a gray patina and scattered spots of age-related discoloration, with one mag. showing spots of mild pitting overall. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting wear and some age-related cracking and crazing, but otherwise remaining sturdy and serviceable. (24-1078/MLW). CURIO. $300-500.
