WITH CASE. Cal. 12 ga. 2 3/4". S# 412028. Mfg. 1991. The 28" shoelump bbls. fitted with slightly raised matted concave game rib are marked with steel type and Merkel information on sides. There are 2 1/4" triangles of scroll engraving at breech ends. Bbl. flats are stamped with 1991 East German Nitro proofs for 2 3/4" chambers and with chokes 1/2 and 1/1. Coin finished backspring sidelock action features automatic safety, crossbolt third fastener, sideclips, reinforced frame, raised rib tumbler end cocking indicators and double triggers. Action and lockplates are engraved with near full coverage large open shaded scroll within some wiggle and line borders. Bottom of action is stamped with Suhl Blacksmith logo. Blued top lever and trigger guard are also scroll engraved. Straight grip buttstock of lightly marbled European walnut measures 15 3/8" over brown leather covered pad. Closely spaced point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching splinter ejector forend has Deeley release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .730", L .729". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun comes with its original patterned vinyl case with brown leather trim by Emmebi. Case has brown suede outer cover with glossy brown leather trim. Interior is lined in green velvet and has leather Merkel label stitched into lid. CONDITION: exceptionally fine, very close to "as new" with only a few minor handling marks in all finishes. Pad is likely a later addition. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanically fine. Case is also fine as protected by its outer cover which has some rubs. Straps and handle are good.
