This lot consists of the following militaria: 1) US Army Blouse. Blouse has 1st Army patch, 169th Infantry insignia, combat infantryman badge, two ribbons, marksmanship badges with pistol, rifle, carbine & machine gun. Blouse is missing most of its front buttons. Also present are a pair of corresponding trousers. 2) Small WW2 Japanese flag that shows staining. 3) Venezuelan Military Order of General Rafael Urdaneta Medal. Medal appears to be a lower class one, Ribbon, small medal & presentation case all present. 4) Yugoslavian Communist Medal. Medal to commemorate service in WW2 including partisans against the Germans. 5) British George VI Medal. WW2 Service Medal with ribbon. 6) WW2 US Army Air Force Boot Inserts. 7) Pair of unknown green military trousers. 8) A signed 1913 dated dinner invitation with signatures form Ernest Shackleton & Admiral R.E. Peary. CONDITION: items show varying degrees of wear & staining. (02-24212/MJC). $400-700.
