Cal. 12 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 210407. The 26-3/4" chopper lump barrels are marked with maker's name and "MADE IN SPAIN" is on narrow swamped game rib. Barrel flats are stamped with 1966 Spanish nitro proofs for 2-3/4" chambers. Coin finished sidelock action features automatic safety, hidden third fastener, bushed strikers, side clips, H&H type detachable locks, gold line tumbler end cocking indicators, gold plated internals and double triggers (front articulated). Action is hand engraved with full coverage small scroll as counterpoint to extensive field of rose blossoms and foliage with some ribbon highlights. Maker's name is on bottom of action. Blued, single beaded trigger guard has more roses on bow and S# on tang. Dark oil finished straight grip buttstock made of relatively plain European walnut measures 14-1/2" over checkered wood butt and features scalloped drop points and flat top point pattern checkering on semi-diamond hand. Matching splinter ejector forend has Anson release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: L .724. R .724. Restriction: L .043 (xtra full). R .021 (mod). Wall thickness: L .030. R .028. STOCK: DAH: 2-5/16". DAC: 1-1/2". CAST: neutral. LOP: 14-1/2". WEIGHT: 6 lb. 10 oz. CONDITION: very fine. Barrels retaining nearly all of their original blue with some scratches and flecks of rust that should clean. Action retains nearly all of its coin finish with some light staining. Top lever and trigger guard show some silvering especially on trigger guard tang which is mostly silver gray. There are 3-4 minor marks in wood finish which appears quite dry. Checkering shows little wear. Bores are bright and shiny with evidence of one small dent in left barrel 10-1/2" from muzzle. Action is tight. Mechanically fine. (24-5567/MGM). CURIO. $1,750-2,500.
