NEWSPAPERS, ASSORTED EPHEMERA, & MORE. This large lot contains numerous framed & unframed prints and certificates, mostly from the WWI era. There are a few foreign items in this lot, but the vast majority is from America. Highlights of this lot include a 1913 roster for Company A, 1st Regiment, 2nd Provisional Brigade of the US Marines at Guantanamo Bay. The colorful roster includes 9 postcard-like photographs of military life in Cuba. Also included is a roster for the 116th Infantry of Camp McClellan in Anniston, Alabama. There are two large regimental portrait photographs with chest-up views of all officers & enlisted men of the Regimental Headquarters Company of the 56th Pioneer Infantry, and Company M of the 56th Pioneer Infantry of the 3rd Army. There is a rolled German paper map of Europe from 1917. The lot also has an oval frame with a brass bust of Wellington in the center with a brass ribbon below that reads “WELLINGTON”. There are many other interesting items in this lot. Please see the photographs for many other interesting items. CONDITION: most items show light wear. Some frames have minor damage.
