35" Unstopped fuller blade, classic hilt with cast "NASHVILLE PLOW WORKS" in arc over "CSA" on bottom of stippled guard, brass mounted lap seam original Nashville scabbard. This exact sword is pictured in Don Furr's 1999 text "American Swords & Maker's Marks" from collection of old time collector and dealer Don Ball. Nashville Plow Works is the most iconic of Confederate swords, highly faked & reproduced. This is guaranteed original & authentic and published. CONDITION: very good as restored by Larry Mealor. When found, this sword, it had a broken back strap and scabbard was missing its throat. Larry restored both to original configuration. (02-19158/JS). $3,000-4,000.
