Cal. 30 Carb. S# 4357531. Bbl. 18" Marlin & marked with a "P". Blade front sight marked "N" on base with protective ears. Flip up aperture rear sight marked "S" on left side & "N-A" on right. Receiver has additional "U" marking denoting it was made by Union Switch & Signal. Flat blued bolt marked "N12". Fourth variant operating slide marked "N5". Trigger housing marked "N9" on left side with "HI" marked straight hammer. "NS" marked push button safety & mag release. Parkerized finish. Low wood walnut stock with oval sling cut & green canvas sling. Right side of butt has ordnance wheel & "NPM/FJA" cartouche. Left sling cut has faint "TRIMBLE" marking. Front band marked "UI" with wide sling swivel. Two rivet handguard marked "TN" on underside. MAGS: 1-15 rd. marked "MN" for Mattuck Mfg. Co. CONDITION: sanded stock set shows a chip at front left of forend, a small crack behind upper tang, some scattered dings & handling wear. Bolt appears cleaned with scattered traces of bluing. Balance of metal retains 50% arsenal parkerized finish with scattered fading to gray, edge wear & some light dings. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore.
