Cal. 44. S# 40814. Bbl. 7 3/8". Brass post-front sight. Navy Arms-imported Italian cap and ball revolver. Blued cyl. and bbl. Case-colored hammer, trigger, and hammer. Brass frame and grip assembly. Walnut grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Navy Arms box, numbered "40816," small bag of lead balls, parts diagram, and percussion cap tool. CONDITION: grips show scattered light handling marks. Brass parts are turning to a dull yellow color with scattered oxidation. Bbl. and loading lever assemblies show scattered large patches turning gray with some oxidation staining. Cyl., trigger, and hammer retain most of their finishes, with some light oxidation, dings, and operational wear. Action appears functional when hand-cycled. Very good bore with strong rifling.
