Cal. 7.65mm. S# 205233. Bbl. 3 1/4". Model 1922 (also commonly referred to as the "Model 1915-1919") semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Beretta. Left side of the slide exhibits usual arsenal markings. Left and right side of the frame exhibit a later added engraved "R (ANCHOR) M" Italian Navy style proof. Metal components exhibit a professionally refinished blue overall, with the slide having a plum appearance. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved pressed steel grips, each with an embossed "PB" within an oval at the top of the panels. Slide features an integral blade front sight, with an integral V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide, and bbl. MAGS: 1 7-rd. with transverse viewing window on either side. CONDITION: metal components retain bountiful amounts of their reapplied blue finish, showing some light edge wear, with scattered spots of varying degrees of pitting beneath the bluing. Proper manual mechanics. Left grip shows a couple of patches of mild pitting, with the right grip exhibiting areas of moderate pitting overall. (25-3430/MLW). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
