MAGAZINE WITH BOX & MANUAL. 100-rd. Thompson submachine gun "C" Drum mfg. by Auto Ordnance. Front cover data plate is marked "MAGAZINE TYPE "C"/ THOMPSON SUBMACHINE GUN/ 100 CARTRIDGES CAL. 45/ WIND TO 15 CLICKS/ NO. 1767", with the rear data plate reading "AUTO ORDNANCE CORP./ NEW YORK, USA/ PATENTED/ JULY 27, 1920 DEC. 7, 1920/ NO. 1767". Cover is marked with the Thompson bullet trademark logo above "WIND TO 15 CLICKS". Exterior exhibits a matte blue finish. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked box containing 2 manuals. CONDITION: near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finish, save for some scattered light superficial marks from handling and storage. Box shows light exterior wear, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. A very nice example of a near new 80s-90s production Thompson "C" drum.
