LEVER ACTION RIFLE WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX, FORMER HENRY RODESCHIN COLLECTION. Cal. 44 Rem Mag. S# 640-00091. Bbl. 18 1/2". Model 96/44 lever action rifle mfg. by Ruger in 1996. Top of the bbl. is marked with Ruger's mfg. information, with the cal. designation marked on the left at the breech. Left side of the receiver is marked "RUGER MODEL NINETY-SIX" above the S# "640-00091" (former Ruger factory employee Henry Rodeschin's personally assigned "91" S#). Steel receiver and bbl. exhibit a blue finish, with the aluminum trigger guard exhibiting a black enamel finish and the steel lever exhibiting a case-color hardened finish. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock. Brass-beaded blade front sight with flip-up U-notch rear sight. The receiver features integral Ruger scope mounts with a brass cocking indicator. MAGS: 1 4-rd. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box. CONDITION: near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory finishes overall. Lever retains strong, vibrant case coloring. Brilliant mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Stock is excellent overall. Polymer mag. shows some scattered handling marks.
