Cal. 45. S# 29624. Standard configuration, 7.5" barrel with Hartford address. Small "45CAL" stamped on left trigger bow, three-line patents stamped on left frame. Colt factory letter shows gun shipped to JP Moore, NYC November 1876 in a shipment of 50 guns. JP Moore customized original plain blue gun with engraving & nickel plating, often associated with Nimschke. Mounted with two-piece mother of pearl grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: "Colt Factory letter". Modern Colt logoed box, French fitted purple velvet for display. CONDITION: fine overall retains virtually all of its nickel finish & well discerned engraving and markings. Matching serial numbers found on barrel, prime, trigger guard, backstrap, and cylinder.
