ACTION CARBINE. Cal. 30-30. S# 2586964. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action carbine mfg. by Winchester in 1964, a significant transitional year in Winchester production. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Single band fastened plain wood forearm and straight grip buttstock with flat impress checkered steel buttplate. Ramped, hooded, and aluminum beaded blade front sight with dovetailed elevation adj. U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting a few small spots of light surface oxidation, as well as a few superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions (most notably on the left side), but otherwise remain sound.
