Cal. 9mm Luger. S# K3390. Bbl. 4 5/8". Late war production Vis.35 (also known as the "wz.35" and "P.35(p)") semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Steyr. The left side of the slide is marked "F.B.RADOM VIS Mod.35.Pat.Nr.15567.", followed by a German eagle firing proof, above a Steyr Eagle/623 proof. Left side of the frame and bbl. exhibit a Steyr Eagle/623 proof. Metal components exhibit a dull late war blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece grooved wood grips. Slide features a grooved rib, with a fixed blade front sight and dovetailed V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, grip safety, slide (on underside of rail), as well as the bbl. (left side of the lug). MAGS: 1 unmarked phosphate 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, with some superficial handling marks present overall. Grip straps exhibit mild to moderate degrees of wear and thinning, with the slide exhibiting a few areas of light pitting towards the muzzle. Near mirror bore, exhibiting scattered spots of light pitting and surface oxidation, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. A nice example of a blued late war Vis.35 pistol mfg. by Steyr. PROVENANCE: the Estate Collection of Charles Wagner. (25-322/MLW). CURIO. $1,000-2,000.
