SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# ST2491. Bbl. 23 1/8". Model 63 semi-automatic rifle mfg. in Japan by Miroku and imported/retailed by U.S. Repeating Arms Co. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo above "LICENSEE," followed by U.S. Repeating Arms Co.'s importer information above "MADE IN JAPAN," with the model and cal. designations marked at the breech. Metal components exhibit a lustrous blue finish overall, save for the bolt, which is polished in-the-white. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock and forend. Blade front sight with square notch rear sight. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting few superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows a few small marks and impressions from handling and storage but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-2838/MLW).
