SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL WITH STOCK & HOLSTER. Cal. 9mm Luger. S# 10446. Bbl. 4 5/8". Early pre-war production High Power semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Fabrique Nationale. Left side of the slide is marked with an encircled "H" towards the muzzle, followed by FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE/ HERSTAL BELGIQUE/ BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE", above various Belgian military acceptance proofs, which are also present on the left side of the frame, and on the right side of the bbl. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips, which feature red anti-moisture paint on the interior of the panels. Dovetailed blade front sight, with tangent rear sight graduated from 50-500. Rear grip strap is slotted for a stock attachment. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame, slide and bbl. (left side). Bottom of the bbl. lug is marked "6167". MAGS: 1 13-rd. phosphate mag. with blued floorplate. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 1960s-1970s pattern FN flat board stock, with brown leather holster, as properly assembled from surplus parts. Stock is properly stamped with a crown over an encircled "GC" Belgian military acceptance proof, and with a 1940 boxed "C" proof on the lug. Holster exhibits a handwritten "Fr. 95.-/ 1971/ Hotmann +/ Reinhardt" in black ink on the interior of the closure flap. CONDITION: good to very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of light to mild wear and thinning (primarily on edges), some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light to mild surface oxidation (primarily on the grip straps). Left side of frame exhibits a small concentrated area of mild pitting. Bore is bright, exhibiting consistent mild pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are good, showing smoothing, as well as scattered superficial marks and impressions. Stock shows some mild superficial marks from handling and storage, with the brass rivets exhibiting a mellow patina. Holster remains malleable, exhibiting scattered superficial handling marks, as well as scattered spots of discoloration.
