RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 87567C. Bbl. 28". Model 52C bolt action target rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1956. Left side of the bull bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model and cal. designations. Left side of the receiver is marked with the S#, with the Winchester trademark marked on the right. Receiver exhibits a polished blue finish, with remaining metal components exhibiting a standard blue finish. Bolt body is polished in-the-white. Standard 1-piece plain wood target style pistol grip stock with 4" blued steel hand stop rail and Al Freeland adj. aluminum buttplate. Toeline of stock, forward most slot of hand stop rail, and aluminum hand stop feature blued steel sling swivels. Trigger guard has been drilled and tapped with a blued steel bar (marked "52" on interior face), preventing removal of the mag. Bbl. features 3 sight blocks. Left side of receiver is fitted with a sight mounting plate. MAGS: x1 blued steel 5-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light thinning on the underside of the bbl. and on the bolt handle / knob. Bolt body retains a bright appearance. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows some superficial marks and impressions from handling and storage, as well as a few scattered spots of flaking to its finish, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
