Cal. 22 LR. S# 86149A. Bbl. 23". Model 63 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1949. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the Winchester trademark logo, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the bolt and operating rod, which are polished in-the-white. Plain wood forearm and pistol grip buttstock with impress checkered blued steel buttplate. Standard dovetailed blade front sight and dovetailed U-notch rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver and lower assembly (minus the "A" suffix). CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some small light superficial handling marks, with a few scratches present on the left side of the receiver. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture is very good, showing a few scattered marks and impressions overall. (26-85/MLW). CURIO. $500-750.
