REVOLVER. Cal. 41 Colt. S# 66670. Bbl. 4 1/2" with semicircular sight and etched panel cal. marking. Long flute six shot cyl. Factory engraved gun with nickel finish having a gold finished cyl. Fire blue trigger & hammer, hammer has polished sides. Frame, bbl. and cyl. have 75% coverage of vine type foliate scroll engraving with punch dot backgrounds accented by fancy borders that continue to the grip straps and ejector housing. 2 Piece pearl grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt archive properties letter stating the following: “COLT DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER MODEL OF 1877”, “Serial Number: 66670”, “Caliber: .41/c”, “Barrel Length: 4 1/2”, “Finish: Nickel with gold cylinder”, “Type of Stocks: Not Listed”, “Factory Engraved: Yes”, “Shipped To: E. C. Meacham Arms Company”, “Address: St. Louis, Missouri”, “Date of Shipment: September 5, 1888” & “Number of Same Type Guns in Shipment: 2”. CONDITION: very fine retaining over 97% original nickel finish. Cyl. has 70% gold finish showing carry wear along edges. Trigger has good fire blue. Hammer has fading fire blue on upper surface with dark aged spots on sides. Very good grips have a very small chip at top of right panel. Legible etched panel cal. marking. Sound mechanics.
