LETTER. Cal. 45 Colt. S# 258088. Bbl. 4 3/4" with blade front sight; frame notched rear. Per factory records, shipped September 7, 1904 to Jackson Hughes of El Paso, Texas as blued model with this barrel length; type of stocks is unknown. Transverse cylinder pin and factory certified for smokeless powder. Presently with full nickel finish and aftermarket simulated stag grips. Crescent ejector rod head. Matching numbers on frame, triggerguard and backstrap. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory letter from 2018 verifying previous info. CONDITION: very good appearance as refinished to nickel. Barrel markings are faint, but frame and serial markings are clear. Light cylinder turn line and some very faint spots of prior finish imperfections. Near excellent grips and timing. Fair bore with wear and typical black powder pitting. (25-3263/NW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
