CONVERTIBLE REVOLVER. Cal. 38-40 / 10mm Auto. S# 611-00091. Bbl 6 1/2" with ramped serrated blade sight plus cylinder frame mounted factory adjustable rear. Only 5,541 units manufacture in 1990 only (1973 to date for all New Models) as Model 06110 having catalogue designation S3840. Black anodized alloy ejector rod housing with balance of blued steel including grip frame; nicely figured dark hardwood grips having silver eagle medallions. Top strap has bee at flower symbol of Buckeye Sports Supply in Ohio. Fluted 38-40 cylinder is matching numbered. Low numbered revolver of subscription number 91 assigned to Henry Rodeschin who was a long time Ruger employee. Henry with his brother William (also a long time employee) operated Rody's Gun Shop about 1/4 mile from the Newport factory and often acted on behalf of the factory as FFL for the public. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original factory yellow / black 1 piece box plus sleeve with packaging to include matching numbered fluted 10mm Auto auxiliary cylinder. CONDITION: very faint rub marks on front sight finish of right side plus upper 2/3 of backstrap has light metallic marks and faint finish loss; balance of revolver is near excellent appearing new and unfired.
