BLANK. Dickson Nelson mfg. a variety of long arms for the state of Alabama in Confederate government at several locations. There last was Dawson Georgia, where this stock was made. Doug Jones wrote a scholarly monograph on this firm & is copied in online link. These souvenirs are rarely seen today. This example has good age patina showing cutting tool marks of the era. 33" x 4.5". CONDITION: good overall, weathered surface.
