PISTOLS, CIRCA 1810. Cal. 60. NSN. 13 1/2" Overall. Bbls. 8" tapered flared rnd. brass marked “LONDON” w/ Birmingham proofs. Brass mounted. Locks are marked “W. KETLAND & CO”, flat serpentine unsupported cocks, unbridled frizzens. Stocks are both surcharged “MS” opposite locks. CONDITION: very good overall, complete & original, iron is a dark patina overall, brass has a light mustard patina w/ the verdigris corrosion around vents, 1 ramrod missing brass cap. Mechanically functional w/ clear smooth bores. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of John "Tim" Breth Jr. (01-17792(2)/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,500-2,000.
