S&I DUTTON OF LIVERPOOL. Cal. 58. NSN. 10" rnd. brass, swamped & have London black powder proofs at left rears. They are marked "LIVERPOOL" on tops w/ in engraved devices. Locks w/ flat plates are fitted w/ serpentine cocks, rounded pans, unbridled frizzens & feather springs w/ bulbous flat finials. Stocks extend to muzzles & are pinned to bbls. Furniture is of brass w/ buttcaps having short spurs at rears. Trigger guards have floral finials. Long sideplates have spear terminals to ends. There are vacant brass ovals at tops of grips & plain hickory ramrods are held by 1 beaded pipe & matching thimbles. All metal parts are line border engraved. CONDITION: good as cleaned & refinished. Bbls. & furniture are nicely toned to dark gold. Locks also cleaned w/ some scattered pitting evident. Stocks w/ old oil refinish have a number of minor marks & are sound. There is a 2" by 1/2" repair to right front bbl. channel of 1 pistol. Mechanically good. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Gary Parietti. (01-19245/MGM). ANTIQUE. $2,500-4,500.
