THEODORE ROOSEVELT COMMEMORATIVE LEVER ACTION RIFLES WITH BOXES. Cal. 30-30. S# TR16781. Bbl 20". Model 94 saddle ring carbine manufactured by Winchester commemorating Theodore Roosevelt. Left side of barrel is stamped with the Winchester trademark logo followed by stampings stipulating the model and caliber designations, with the right side being stamped "THEODORE ROOSEVELT COMMEMORATIVE". The left side of the receiver is marked "26th President" followed by a patriotic eagle and "1901-1909", with a lightly engraved decorative border on the right. Receiver is nickel plated, with the barrel and lever being blued. Smooth wood buttstock features a Theodore Roosevelt medallion inlaid on the right side, with the smooth wood forend exhibiting a nickel plated nosecap. Beaded blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: original factory box with commemorative cardboard sleeve. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their factory nickel and blue finish overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture is very excellent overall. Box exhibits wear, some tearing, as well as some staining overall. Sleeve exhibits exterior wear with tearing, wear, and no longer retains its end flaps. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining bountiful amounts of their original factory nickel and blue finish. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture is excellent. Box shows some mild wear, with minor tearing, and some staining.
