6TH PLATE TINTYPE OF SOLDIER. 1) This pair of discharges are named to Edward Lacy, serving in Company A of the 53rd Regiment of Indiana Infantry. The first discharge was given at Hebron, Mississippi in March 1864. The second was given at Louisville, Kentucky on the 21st of July 1865. Wooden frame measures 19 1/4" x 13 1/2". CONDITION: discharges are somewhat discolored & stained w/ edge & crease wear. Frame shows moderate wear. (02-13930/BF). 2) This unframed image shows a bearded, rosy cheeked soldier that appears to have an oil cloth kepi on along w/ an artillery shell jacket. Standard enlisted trousers. An interesting note is that the soldier is wearing 3 rings. CONDITION: there are minor abrasions to the image & some chipping to the extreme edges. Image remains clear & crisp.
