DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVERS. 1) COLT DETECTIVE SPECIAL DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spcl. S# H17183. Bbl. 2 1/8". Detective Special double action revolver mfg. by Colt in 1974. Left side of the bbl. is marked with the model and cal. designations, with Colt's 2-line address marked on the right. Left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components exhibit a nickel plated finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Standard fixed blade front sight and square frame notched rear sight. Matching numbers are present on the frame and cyl. crane. CONDITION: metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory nickel plated finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, as well as some scattered scratches and superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting some very light to light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show some light smoothing, as well as some superficial handling marks, but otherwise remain sound. (25-4376/MLW). 2) COLT DETECTIVE SPECIAL DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spcl. S# 52890M.
