RIFLES. 1) Cal. 30-30. S# 1863124. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action rifle, mfg. in 1952. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the Winchester trademark logo, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood straight grip buttstock with flat checkered steel buttplate and plain wood forend. Buttstock and mag. tube have been fitted with aftermarket sling loops. Ramped aluminum beaded blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to brown patina. Receiver exhibits mild surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. 2) Cal. 30-30. S# 1610334. Bbl. 20". Model 94 lever action rifle, mfg. by Winchester in 1949. Left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the Winchester trademark logo, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood straight grip buttstock and forend appear to have been lightly sanded and oiled at one time. Ramped aluminum beaded blade front sight, with rear sight dovetail being fitted with a blank. Receiver has been drilled and tapped with a Williams adj. aperture rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some spots of light surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows some light marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (24-2553/MLW).
