Cal. 28 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 118206. Bbls. 28" of Vulcan steel weight 3 lbs. 3 oz.. Fixed full & full chokes. Case colored O frame action with double triggers & extractors. Splinter forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy Claro walnut with Burl grain showing red & brown tones with dark streaking. Stock work by noted stock maker Hulet Million of Warsaw, MO. Hand checkering is done in original style. LOP: 14 1/8" over a reproduction dog's head buttplate. DAC: 1 5/8". DAH: 2". Neutral cast. Weight: 6 lbs. 11.2 oz. Mfg. 1902. This is a very early example of an American made 28 Ga. shotgun. Parker is credited with being the first American company to introduce a 28 Ga. shotgun. CONDITION: bbls. retain over 98% rust blued refinish. Action shows small amounts of original case colors in protected areas with balance fading to gray. New wood has a satin finish.
