Cal. 12 Ga. S# 108748. The 28" bbls. with concave matted rib marked with Parker, name, address, & "TITANIC STEEL" rib are fitted with two large silver beads. Rear bead is installed just in front of address line. Bbl. flats have all correct markings. Rear of lump is stamped with frame size "1 1/2". Typical Parker boxlock type action with correct markings on watertable features automatic safety and dbl. triggers. Action is engraved in usual D style with varying sized scroll surrounding oval scenes of single dogs on sides (pointer on left, setter on right). "PARKER BROS." is in banner on each side. Trigger plate is engraved with group of four birds feeding. Serial number is on trigger guard tang. Parker capped pistol grip buttstock of well figured and marbled European walnut measures 13 7/8" over brown "white line" pad. Stock has usual drop points, multi point pattern checkering and large silver oval. Matching splinter forend with shaped steel tip, has patent date engraved on Parker latch. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS.: Bore Diameter: R: .729", L: .730". Restrictions: R: .037" (FULL), L: .041" (EXTRA FULL). Minimum Wall Thickness: R: .029", L: .027". STOCK: DAH: 2 3/4". DAC: 1 7/16". CAST: neutral. LOP: 13 7/8". WEIGHT: 6 lbs. 14 oz. CONDITION: good as refinished. Bbls. retaining nearly all shiny reblack. Action is cleaned to coin finish. Stocks retain most of an oil refinish with some later scratches. Checkering shows light wear. Forend checkering has considerable wear. Bores are shiny over light frosting and a few scattered pits.
