Cal. 12 GA, opened to 2 3/4" chambers. S# 122314. Bbl. 30" of damascus steel. Case colored No. 2 frame boxlock action with double triggers and extractors. G grade engraving features a pheasant on the right side scene with 2 flying ducks on the left. Scenes are surrounded by engraved highlights and borders that continue to forearm iron and trigger guard areas. Steel tipped splinter forearm and hard rubber capped pistol grip stock with hand checkering. Toeline of stock has small shield escutcheon. LOP: 14" over original dogs head buttplate. DAC: 1 3/4". DAH: 2 3/4". Stock has a neutral cast. Weight: 7lbs. 10.2oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Parker Gun Collectors Association letter stating: the gun was ordered on February 9th, 1906 by Hibbard, Spencer and Bartlett of Chicago, IL. Letter further states the gun was sold on July 6th, 1910 to Ward Allen in Savannah, GA for $40. CONDITION: bbls. have a very light dull gray rebrowned finish. Action retains 90% of a dark heat colored refinish. Stock and forearm have a dark toned high gloss refinish with freshened checkering. Stock has a plug type repair at the head. Top lever sits slightly left of center when closed. Lightly pitted bores. (25-4327/DS). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
