Cal. 12 Ga., 2 5/8". S# 11002. Barrel #1 - 28" of damascus steel. CHOKE CONSTRICTION: right - .005, left - .004. Barrel #2 - plain twist shortened to 24". Plain grade Lifter action is unengraved. Lockplates are marked "PARKER BROS". Double triggers. Extractors. Both barrels have individual splinter forearms. Hard rubber capped pistol grip walnut stock. LOP: 13 1/4" over a replacement buttplate. Stock and forearms were hand checkered. S# indicates production 1877-1879. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: shooter made wood box with brass hook latches. Inside of lid has black marker written "Cap Tryon / To / Eben Hall / To / Milton B. Hall. / To / Bradford A. Hall". CONDITION: action has a bright cleaned appearance showing some light pitting. Barrel #1 has gray coloration from touch up finish. Bores are pitted. Left barrel has a small dent 13 3/4" from muzzle. Barrel #2 has gray coloration from touch up finish and has evidence of resoldered lower rib. Bores shows spots of light pitting. Left barrel is dented 11 1/2" from muzzle. Sanded and refinished wood has weakened checkering with oil darkening showing scratches and marks. (01-23146/DS). ANTIQUE. $700-1,000.
